The objective was to create a board game that procedurally represents a water cycle and a system influenced by it. Working within a small group, we decided to use the Mayan rain deity Chaac as our inspiration for both the aesthetics and strategy.

Chaac is both one and manifold. Therefore, four Chaacs are based on the cardinal directions and wear the directional colors: red, yellow, black and white. These are brought into our game as a way of differentiating between the players and their respective villages.
